  2. Switch to circle dot style

In the customization panel, find the dot style option and select the circle (round) pattern. The preview updates instantly so you can see exactly what it looks like.

  3. Customize and download

Add your brand colors, upload a logo, and adjust the corner eye style to match. Download as PNG for digital use, or SVG/PDF for crisp print at any size.

What works in practice

Circle QR Code Best Practices

Circle dots reduce the visual density of the code, making it look cleaner — but always test scannability after customizing.

Keep sufficient contrast between dot color and background. Light gray circles on white will fail to scan.

Don't make the logo larger than 25% of the code area. With round dots, the error correction tolerance is the same as square dots.

Print at minimum 2.5 cm × 2.5 cm. Smaller sizes can make the round dots merge together and reduce scan reliability.

EZQR validates every code against ISO/IEC 18004 before download — if contrast or size is problematic, you get a warning.
